Started my ventures in wind with the old Wind guru. Tried three other alternatives, came back to the old version as it's clean, simple and works as should. Old school is the best school imo

Brilliant. This old version has perfect UI on Nexus 7. Wind degrees would
be useful for surf forecasting. New "lite" version is abysmal, text is
illegible due to extensive use of small light gray font.

Does not do any downloading. All actions show progress for one second and then nothing happens. Thank you for your reply. After your reply I restarted device and done "clean_data" in settings. I have the very same result. It takes a little longer: about 2 seconds to hide progress and then nothing hapens again. My two cases: Browse Spots and [Search] button in Spot Search. Are you sure that you can solve that without updating the app?

Used to work great. Updated itself to lots which I can't get to work or change location. Came back to old and can't get location. Why change something that Works?? ???
