Using with JVC GC- XA1(bu) - Working for me after firmware update I am using this app with JVC GC- XA1(bu). Note that I first updated the firmware on my JVC to version 492. After setting up the WiFi connections via the window program and a USB cable this app (WiVideo version 1.31.1.31) is working great for me on my Samsung Note 2 via WiFi HotSpot. A few things to note: The orientation does not match the notification bar at the top of the phone. However, the orientation DOES rotate the image for me and matches the camera fine. Remote controls all work fine albeit a bit slow as would be expected via a WiFi app. I would give it 5 stars if the rotation worked with the notification bar but this is not a deal killer at all!!!!

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for Motorola Droid RAZR I admit, I was having fits like some of the other posters here that this app did not work. I tried EVERYTHING to get it to work on my Android, but nothing. The instructions on this sight suck and the downloaded instructions for my Android were even worse. Then I read the message(s) on the camera & it said to connect USB for PC password. I connected the camera to the PC and noticed that the camera set itself up as the CD Drive on my computer, that is where you will find the secret to making this work. Install WiVideo software from the Setup Icon that appears and you will be on your way. Be patient and let the software do it's thing. It took me about 20 minutes, but once the software was on my PC, I disconnected the USB cable, powered down the camera, my phone and my PC, rebooted all then launched the software on the PC. Configure the password on the PC to 0000 (same as what appears on the camera). Connect the camera via WIFI to the PC. Then shutdown everything and follow the steps to connect the camera to your phone. In my case an Android, which requires the Hotspot to be turned on PRIOR to launching WiVideo App. Launch the APP then follow the instructions to connect the camera
