I would argue that this is the best free language learning app out there! It's particularly useful for people who don't want to pay for subscriptions too, because their free version ticks the boxes. Lingual offers speaking, listening, and reading exercises (like Duolingo) but also has flashcards to practice similar words, tags (you can use a tag to group words however you like), and has pages which explain how to structure different concepts and tenses - all with no ads.
