More than 70,000 tours (biking, hiking, skiing) from our partners gps tour.info, alpintouren.at and geo-coaching.net with reviews / height model / text / images COMPASS TOP50 maps and cards. The map coverage of the tour services currently affects South Tyrol, Austria and Germany and is constantly expanding.
ape@map works even without mobile network.
With the ape@map PC Viewer (ape@map desktop) you can plan routes on a PC or even offline maps and tracks (available for free at www.apemap.com) exported from PC to mobile phone.

Very nice maps, ui bit complicated and sometimes a bit buggy but overall good experience. Would like an option to have a simple ui with only flags and an on-off switch for current location (battery saving). Did not care too much for recording the trips I made.

By far the worst user interface This looks like a Windows 95 map. Took me ages to find a supported map for France and when I did, it just would not show my position. Good effort to localize this for more countries, but clearly this is a german friendly app.

Complicated to use, terrible interface and not free. Generally feels old and not up to date in many aspects, as if abandoned by the Devs. To many better and free apps out there.

Poor map quality and unstable Crashed several times on poi search. Maps are poor... high data usage... drained battery fast

I bought ape map Pro assuming it would be able to display all zoom levels, but the screen still goes blank when I zoom to "1 km". Even the Desktop
Version doesn't let me freely choose the zoom level: Instead of 1:50.000 or
1:25.000 it switches between 1:49.038 and 1:24.519, and since my map is
1:25.000 the screen goes blank at zoom level "400 m".
