Favorite workout app. I like it so well that I bought the premium version twice after I got a new phone. It's very simple to log the existing exercises and to add your own.

I am very happy with Gym Buddy and have recommended it to many of my friends. It's easy to set up custom workouts and exercises to track progress. I know other apps have more advanced features, but I love its simplicity and ease of use.

Wrote the developer twice. No response. App keeps crashing. Especially if I go to a different app and come back to Gym Buddy - it stops my workout, I have to go back to workouts, select the workout I was doing, and press the right arrow to get all the way back to the exercise I was doing when it crashed, so I can record my proceeding set. I previously sent feedback regarding the app crashing when I am going back and forth between exercises in a workout that have different units (e.g. sets and

I used this app for a few years, loved it, paid for it to support the developer. A few months ago, there was an Android update and Gym Buddy started crashing, often. Every time it crashes you have to open the app, open the workout you are doing, then navigate back to where you were. I submitted a clearly written bug report explaining this. Here's my interaction with the developer: Me: Crashes frequently since last android update. Developer: I haven't made any new updates for a while. Are you able to see specific instances where it crashes (steps that I can take to reproduce on my end) or is completely random? Me: It was an android update, not Gym Buddy. Interacting with any other app will crash it every time. I needed to be clearer on the term crash, The app stays open. It minimizes and the workout I was on closes - I have to navigate back to it. Me: (1.5 months later) Any fix coming for this? Developer: Can you take a video of the problem? I'm not sure I quite understand the issue. I gave up at this point and found another app that works for me. I was patient and gave them 2 months to fix it before I walked away. 1. I was clear in the beginning that it was an Android update that started it. 2. I described it clearly. 3. There are lots of other folks having the same trouble based on reviews. 4. I'm not your software tester.
