World Geography Quiz: Flags

How well do you actually know the world?

Atlas League is a ranked geography quiz — a world geography game where every answer moves your rating. Right answers push you up, wrong ones pull you down. You are never just collecting points in a trivia game. You are climbing.

SEVEN DIVISIONS TO CLIMB
Start as an Explorer and work up through Navigator, Pathfinder, Cartographer, Surveyor and Geographer to Atlas Master. Your rating decides who you are matched against, so this geography quiz gets harder exactly as fast as you do.

A NEW DAILY WORLD RUN EVERY DAY
Five fresh questions, the same five for everyone, with its own daily leaderboard. About a minute to play, and the easiest way to keep a streak alive.

WEEKLY LEADERBOARDS
Every Monday the board resets and everyone restarts from their division floor. A bad week never follows you around.

EIGHT KINDS OF GEOGRAPHY
• Capitals and countries — a capitals quiz and a country quiz in one
• Flags — a world flags quiz covering every nation
• Landmarks and monuments
• Physical geography — mountains, rivers, deserts and oceans
• Borders and neighbours
• Maps and locations — world map quiz rounds
• Culture and place
• World records and superlatives

Every continent is covered: Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, Oceania and Antarctica.

SEE IT, DON'T JUST READ IT
Flags, maps and landmarks come as pictures, not descriptions. Naming a flag on sight is a different skill from naming a capital, and both count toward the same rating. If you like a flag quiz or a map quiz, this is where guessing the flag actually counts for something.

PLAY IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Questions are written and reviewed by people in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian. Not machine-translated. The app's own menus are in English and French.

BUILD YOUR EXPEDITION CREW
Earn coins as you play and recruit twelve explorers for your crew as you rank up.

HOW THE RATING WORKS
Every player and every question carries a rating. Beat a hard question and you gain more; miss an easy one and you lose more. The matchmaker draws from a pool within range of your own rating, so a geo quiz round is never a wall of questions you cannot answer, and never a lap of ones you already know.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ASKED
Guess the flag of a nation from the flag alone. Name the capital of a country you have never visited. Work out which country a border, a river or a mountain range belongs to. Recognise a landmark from a photograph. Work out which of four nations is the largest, the highest or the furthest south.

Every question is multiple choice — four options, fifteen seconds. There is no map to drag and no pin to drop.

WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who wants a geography trivia game with real stakes — students revising world geography, quiz-night regulars, map and atlas obsessives, and anyone who wants to finally learn the capitals, countries and flags of the world instead of guessing at them.

Fifteen seconds a question. Four answers. No filler.

Free to play, always online. Atlas League Pro refills your lives every 5 minutes instead of every 30, so you are never waiting to play.
