The absolute hardest download I've ever experienced. It came with a DVD, I don't have a player, so I went to the website. When I tell you it was a struggle, it was like Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant! Took me over 10 attemps to download and almost 3 days! Now that I've done it, it's outdated!! I have yet to use the scan pen that this is to be paired with!! If this ends up being like Godzilla vs Mithra. ALL GOOD NOW. TECH EMAILED ME BACK!

After using this software for weeks, I noticed several issues to be addressed：1. The interface is fixed (vertically) oriented. When using a tablet, the interface layout cannot be horizontally rotated. This annoys me as I could not use my table cover as a holder, when doing my translation works. 2. When translating sentences from Japanese to English, the output (produced by Google Translate) does not contain yomi-kata. To get how each kanji word is read (yomi-kata), I have to copy the output and paste it on Google Translate websites. It would be more convenient if this software could import this yomi-kata automatically, along with the translation from the same source - Google Translate.

The sales web page claims the app works on Chromebook but when I tried to install the app on my Chromebook, the only choice was installing it on my phone, Apparently It will not work with the Chromebook and should not be advertised as such.

I just don't know why a simple scanning apps need to be given permission to my location, my contact before I am able to use it.(after all I have paid for the scanning device and app is just an interface) It feels too creepy and unsettling to feel that you are constantly being monitored by this app and loose a lot of what you value such as privacy and choice.

Have had the WorldPenScan X for a couple of years. The translator works great, if you type it in to the app. But the pen that came with it has never worked consistently or well. It would pick up a letter or two, but not much more. Now the app doesn't even find the pen when trying to sync up via BT. Great idea but has a lot of kinks to work out.

Why is this scanner app asking for contacts on my phone? Are you stealing contacts, so you can sell them on the market? Denying this makes the application unable to start. Also, instructions for pairing with Pen Power MSE09 are incorrect.
