Now as with WTVA news app, annoying pop-up captive ads!! Whether it's severe weather or not, I don't want to wait through a 15 to 30-second captive ad for my weather.

Allen Media laying off all their local meteorologists because they are in debt because of a 840 million dollar long term loan due in 2027. The owner of this company is worth a billion dollars alone. But instead of paying off their debt this guy pockets the money and puts viewers in danger by forcing layoffs of the local weather experts. Matt Laubhan and crew have saved countless lives over the decade they've worked. Replaced now by "near live" coverage. Easy to uninstall this app now.

Stupid ads everywhere. Want to check out the 10-day forecast? Watch an ad. Got an alert for a tornado warning and you want to look at the radar? Watch an ad. Ridiculous.
