Handy to use if the app likes your phone. On my Google phone I had to constantly use a backup method for verification. On my Samsung phone I get the alert which is much easier

Security is a mess. Verify works with a code now, but you then have to verify the device a second time through email.

My Xero verify stopped sending the POP-up notification to allow access. I have to manually log in and get a code. Very long-winded process

It never works, I always have to log in to my alternative email address just to get the code to log in to my laptop

Xero kept asking me to scan the QR to register the device, but the app has already scanned the code and would only give me a 6 number login which xero won't accept. Absolute waste of time, if I can't get another authenticator to work then I will have to cancel my subscription and use a different company.
