If you are educated in databases, you will figure your own relational algorithm with XLM. No spreadsheet or other 'database' touches this for Android. Using standard CSV text files and/or the clipboard allows you to exchange data from and with any other database, and makes XLM backwards and forwards compatible over the years. This is one of the few programs in the world that works so well that an upgrade has not been necessary since 2012.

XLMSoft Database PRO Jan 2013 I use this App for work to log jobs done, and when the boss asks for details I can find the records very quickly using the various filters and search strings. Its is brilliant in this respect. I can't fault the app other than not been able to copy records. However, the Dev says this is coming in the next upgrade. Running on Note 2 with no problems.

The only Android database manager that meets my needs. This one works for me because it not only allows efficient entry of data into a table, but also allows me to display the table in columns of variable width. It also makes it possible to back up a table, and to export and import table data to and from a .csv file, thereby making it possible to share a table with other applications. The app is very fast. It brings up a table with more than 5,000 entries in a second or two. It could still use improvement. It is really a table manager rather than a database manager. It doesn't permit multiple tables to be linked -- for example, by requiring the entries in one field to be drawn from a field in another table. Edits of this kind are enforced by listing the allowed field entries, separated by commas, in the table definition. This method only works if the number or allowed entries is small. I would also like to see the ability to encrypt a table, or at least one field in a table.
