Comments on XPENG for Android

★★★★☆ Matthew Loh · Jun 6, 2026

Update: battery drain issue has been fixed! Awesome, thank you! Fix the battery drain!

★★★★★ Theo Pratt · Jul 1, 2026

So far great experience does what it needs to do alerts me if I left the doors or windows open. Easily turn on AC, Guard, remote control features work seamlessly. Would like to see Guard video from the app if it detects a collision. Ability to lock speed if you borrow the car to someone else, Combo set up works great. Need more info on energy usage & more trips options.

★★★★☆ Cool Daddio · May 26, 2026

After the latest update on 20th May. Battery usage much improved. On days, I don't use my car. Down to 0.6% usage only. So let's see.

★★★★★ Trond Bolsø · May 27, 2026

Update: battery issue now fixed! (Previously: Drains the battery due to frequent polling of Bluetooth. Needs to be force-closed after every use. )

★☆☆☆☆ Francisco Cocozza · Apr 8, 2026

It drains my battery!! Please fix this! --- Excessive battery usage. This app drains my battery every single day. On average, it uses ~28% of my battery. I own a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, so the battery capacity is not small. However, this app significantly affects my phone's autonomy. Please fix this! Car: XP ENG G9 2024 - European version Update: This issue only happens when you have auto unlock enabled. However, having to disable it is inconvenient and a clear disadvantage compared to others.

★★☆☆☆ Vincent K. · Apr 18, 2026

Draining battery like crazy. Can't use it for digital key and automatically opening when come closer to the car. Bad app for such a prestige manufacturer

★☆☆☆☆ Ashwin Nathaniel · May 30, 2026

Oct 25: nice app but the battery drain is horrendous and well if Good luck with it detecting your phone and unlocking it when needed May 26: horrible app doesn't unlock on proximity at all, just give me a key that unlocks my car
