Best for children: they do not need a mobile phone while outside, the parent can see in real time when they are, get notifications regarding who called them or whom they called, they can't be called by someone who is not a contact, only the parent can add contacts.

This app, the entire xplora product line, the mobile connection, the entirety of this product and it's function... is hands down the BEST purchase/choice I HAVE EVER MADE as a single father of an 8-year-old girl. I more than recommend this system to anyone with a child. Especially if you're a single parent. This is my only communication to my baby girl who I love and miss more than anything in this world. Feature request: Please add a new contact role (e.g. "Family Contact"), allowing grandparents and other relatives to exchange messages with the child without access to GPS location, location history, safety zones or watch settings. Many families want children to communicate with grandparents while keeping location data private.

Recurring problems with GPS tracking, and watch battery percentage the app shows which does not match with the battery percentage on the actual watch

You had better find your kid within 72 hours. Our daughter lost her Xplora, and we didn't notice it within 72 hours. The app will no longer share the last known location... Luckily it wasn't an abduction. How is this helpful?

The app used to be good. But after the recent update or the newer app, the tracking and location has been terrible. Sometimes it shows my child location in complete different place. It doesn't refresh properly. Extremely disappointed
