YACReader Remote

★★★★★ Honest about its limits, but the developer is trustworthy and single-handedly creating this set of apps, and getting better and better. I expect he'll eventually work in on-device storage as he has with the iOS version, but the remote library access works very smoothly and rendering is excellent.

★★★★★ Great app for what it was made, and I am aware that this is the first version, but I noticed some basic missing features: 2.) Option to disable page transition animation 3.) Save current page 4.) Set cover page Giving 5 stars anyway because I'm confident these features will be added in the future versions :) Edit: Just checked, found the webtoon Mode, but I think it would be better to add it in the arrows option where the arrows pointing downward would mean webtoon mode. Will make do for now

★★☆☆☆ For the most part pointless. At least one new library has to be created on the server, which has to be updated per console with every new comic. The background of the app changes color randomly. The biggest problem is that the libraries are readable by everyone without any login. The only advantage over e.g. Dropbox is the preview of the covers.

★★☆☆☆ After having read a lot of comics on the YAC reader on my computer, I was excited to hear that they had released an Android app. Unfortunately my experience is not being a good one. When I go to set up my server via the QR code everything does transfer over easily and all I have to do is put in my server name. However, when I load my server on my phone the comics do not show up. Hopefully they fix this soon. At this point I've wasted $5.
