“Norezium - move between lanes, avoid obstacles, and complete the levels”
Description by K Selvi Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
In Norezium, the controls are straightforward. The arena is divided into four lanes, and tapping one of them moves the character to that position. You need to observe the distribution of obstacles and choose a clear space before an object reaches the player's position.
Every regular obstacle that passes completely through the arena without hitting you counts as a successful dodge. You earn points for this action and increase your current level progress. The number of points awarded for each dodge increases with the level, making advanced stages more rewarding.
Norezium features 18 levels. To complete a level, you must dodge a specific number of obstacles, with the requirement gradually increasing throughout the campaign. The first level requires eight successful dodges, and each following level adds two more to the progress target.
The pace also changes continuously. With each level, the base speed of the objects increases, while the interval between waves becomes shorter. In addition, the individual speed of an obstacle may vary slightly, so objects do not always move at exactly the same pace.
In the early levels, most waves use only one lane. Starting from Level 4, two obstacles can appear in different lanes during the same wave. From Level 8, two-lane combinations become more common, reducing the available space for movement.
Starting from Level 12, Norezium can create even denser configurations. Some waves use separated lanes and may add another object. This requires you to monitor the entire arena rather than focusing only on the obstacle closest to the character.
The game also includes fake objects that begin appearing from Level 6. They have a more transparent appearance and can pass through the same lane as the player without costing a life. They also do not add progress or points when they leave the arena.
The chance of these fake objects appearing increases throughout the campaign. After Level 9, they become more common, while from Level 13 their probability increases again. Norezium therefore requires you to distinguish between real threats and elements that only affect how you read the field.
Colliding with a real obstacle costs one life. If you still have lives remaining, the game continues and you can keep avoiding other objects. When the number of lives reaches zero, the attempt ends and your achieved score is displayed.
Norezium has three difficulty levels. Easy starts with five lives and reduces obstacle speed. Medium starts with three lives and uses the standard pace. Hard starts with two lives, increases the speed, and reduces the effective interval between waves, requiring faster reactions.
After completing a level's objective, all active obstacles are cleared and bonus points for completing the stage are added to the score. After a short transition, the next level begins. Completing Level 18 finishes the entire campaign with a victory.
The screen displays your score, best score, remaining lives, current level, and dodge progress. Norezium saves the best score locally whenever the current score exceeds it. The game can also be paused and automatically enters pause mode when the application leaves the active screen.
From simple waves with a single obstacle to multi-lane combinations and fake objects, Norezium gradually increases the challenge. Watch the arena, change lanes at the right moment, and keep your distance from real obstacles. Complete all 18 levels to finish the challenge.
