Yapp - AI Notes & Summaries

Turn your audio into understanding — tailored to who you are.

Yapp helps you record or upload audio, transcribe it, and instantly receive an AI-generated summary. But what makes Yapp different is that summaries and AI interactions adapt to your role.

When you start, you choose how you use Yapp:

Student — focused on learning, clarity, and revision
Coach — focused on insights, guidance, and session analysis

This choice changes how your transcripts are summarized and how AI helps you explore your content.

How it works
Record or upload audio — lectures, sessions, interviews, voice notes
Tap Transcribe when you’re ready
Receive an automatic summary adapted to your role
Ask questions in a dedicated AI chat linked to that recording

Each audio session becomes an interactive workspace with:

The original recording
A full transcript
A role-aware AI summary
A persistent AI chat for deeper understanding

No more replaying hours of audio. No more manual note-taking.

Role-aware summaries

Yapp doesn’t summarize the same way for everyone.

Students get structured, easy-to-understand breakdowns for learning and revision
Coaches get insight-driven summaries to analyze conversations and extract key points

The AI chat also understands this context when you ask follow-up questions.

Perfect for
Students revisiting lectures and study material
Coaches reviewing client sessions
Journalists analyzing interviews
Podcasters extracting insights from episodes
Knowledge workers organizing spoken information
Ask your audio questions

Once transcribed, you can ask things like:

“What are the key takeaways?”
“Explain this part more simply”
“List action items from this session”
“Summarize this for revision”

Each recording becomes searchable, interactive knowledge.

Features
Record audio or upload files
Manual transcription trigger
Automatic role-based summaries

Searchable transcripts and summaries

Yapp is built for people who learn, teach, guide, and think through spoken content.
