Comments on YEC Mobile for Android

Love paying my power bill online is great thank you

★★★★★ Lexxy · Jun 21, 2022

Super convenient way to pay and monitor my utility services. Thank you YEC.

★★★★★ Chris Jeffcoat · Mar 15, 2025

Surprisingly good app. No nonsense animations to bog down the experience like you see in many apps today. Very responsive and easy to use. It was easier to pay my bill here than it is on the website (not that it's difficult on the website). I was a bit concerned with all the reviews (at time of writing) being older than a year - but it still works great.

Nothing special but does the trick! For those complaining about costs to pay online - yes it costs to use credit cards. If research payment processing you will see how that works. ECheck will not charge you ! It's Not York doing this it's the industry. Use a check if you don't want to pay the fees

★☆☆☆☆ Anthony Paige · Oct 26, 2020

Garbage. Very insecure app that saves and displays full payment account numbers without any encryption. A perfect gateway for getting hacked.

★★☆☆☆ Jennifer Hawley · Jan 23, 2020

The app itself works pretty well, once you figure everything out. My problem is that YEC charges a $7.90 "convenience fee" to pay your power bill through the app. York County Natural Gas has the same app set up and they don't charge anything to pay online.

★☆☆☆☆ Tisha Alexander · Oct 26, 2019

App doesn't always work. Keep have to uninstall and then install it back.

★☆☆☆☆ Dennis Fields · Jun 9, 2015

Force closes, can't use Won't even open, force closes immediately after pushing icon. I believe it needs to be updated to work with the latest android version
