YuAn

YuAn is an on-device safety-monitoring app designed for people living independently: seamless, quiet protection that watches over you.

How it works
- Optionally, unlocking your phone counts as a check-in and refreshes your safety status; it runs silently in the background, so you never have to open the app on a schedule. Manual check-in and widget check-in are also available - pick what suits you.
- If no check-in occurs within your configured timeout, YuAn alerts your emergency contacts by SMS and/or e-mail, including your latest location, last check-in time and your custom information.
- Repeated alerts may continue until you confirm you are safe; the count and interval are customizable.
- Monitoring resumes automatically after a reboot; when the timeout was exceeded, you can set a short window to check in after boot.
- Alert e-mails are queued offline and resent automatically once the network returns.

Privacy by design
- All monitoring data (unlocks, location, alert logs) stays on your phone only, protecting your data security.
- No account, no cloud monitoring, no ads or analytics; apart from feedback you actively submit, the app works offline with no other data ever uploaded.
- Emergency contacts are yours to choose; alert content goes only to the people you trust.

Deep customization
- Timeout units (minutes/days/months), repeat-alert frequency and limits, daily sending caps and location sampling intervals are all configurable.
- Alert templates support variables: name, address, contact info, last check-in time and current location.
- Dual-SIM SMS fallback, offline e-mail retry and a post-boot grace window to check in after a restart.

Extras
- Home-screen countdown, check-in reminder notifications (check in right from the notification), a widget for one-tap check-in, and a history calendar with trends.
- A clean interface in Chinese and English; app lock guards your privacy settings.
