I've installed, commissioned, and serviced Zehnder HRV/ERVs for 8 years. The Q series are fantastic machines. And the LAN C with this app is a great option. But, You have to connect it properly. The LAN C should be connected with the comf-net color coded push connectors. Matching the colors from the LAN C to the Q unit. USE a shielded 4 conductor wire, this will prevent interference from power cords. Then you must connect to your WI-FI router by either net cable. Then connect phone to WI-Fi.

Relatively unstable app. Doesn't always connect to the network, and often unable to show the temperature of some sensors (or it's a defect in the air unit, since their known for that). Support wouldn't help with the problems. Some controls are OK though some buttons are too close to one another. Other controls are poor; for ex. there's no direct switch for the bypass or the cooling unit, the "manual" controls is convoluted, and the automatic behavior is sometimes erratic.

I have problems getting application to work. After connecting the LAN interface and installing the app, I get this error message: "Cannot connect to the gateway. Please make sure you are on the same network...". After clicking CHECK CONNECTION it says that there is a problem with "Remote access enabled X" (all other items are green". Status: Connection Failed. We have tried two different ComfoConnect LAN C modules, different network configurations, different switches, all LAN cables are 100% working (tested). My installer cannot help me. Please help me with this problem. The firmware of ComfoAir Q600 ST is R1.7.0. Thank you in advance.
