The good: I've been able to make $170 so far with a 4-year-old mavic pro. The drone base employees edit the photos for you (though I straighten mine before sending). The bad: It may depend on your location/drone, but "missions" are posted infrequently averaging once every month and a half (mostly in summer). Overall: If you have a drone lying around, a remote pilot license, and want a little experience flying drones for real estate this is an awesome app.

Pilot Thompson here. 1st time using this application it was super simple to set up and use. I Thank you Drone Base! Just moved to Minnesota and within 1 month of signing up I'm receiving my 1st job. I hope for a bit higher pay especially the distance I am driving. However, I know experience counts. Please Drone Base let's get some more jobs for me here in Minnesota!!!

I rated this review as five-star because of the way drone base has handled one of my missions. Fairly inexperienced, tried to go on a mission that was to be a close call for me due to changing weather conditions. I was surprised at the level of communication possible, as I explained why I wasn't going to be able to finish the mission due to distance and level of pay. They went the extra mile for me & even helped with some of the cost for my effort. Give them & this app a try!

These guys are scammers. I am an airline pilot who did this as an activity on the side when it was drone base. The people running this are disorganized and require major input of activity while being slow to pay out missions. Now that it changed to Fairview, they will list missions and then change the requirements AFTER you complete the job. Specifically, they refused payment because AFTER a job was complete exactly per mission requirements, they made up additional requirements.

This is not a good company to associate with. Their goal is to undervalue and underpay drone pilots. They won't have jobs nearby you, so expect to travel at least an hour or more per location, and they offer no travel compensation. The jobs will be spaced out about 1 every week to every other week. They will pay you about $70 to spend an hour getting a roof inspection done, or if you have an enterprise level drone they'll pay you $200 to get a 200 acre stockpile report. Just stay away.
