It really does do the job If you take the time to read the built-in user guide, you can calibrate it to get excellent results. Great for RC airplane enthusiasts. Having on- location real-time wind speeds is more useful to me than getting wind speeds from a weather report. Kudos.

Seems wildly inaccurate, shows 49.2kn (the max it goes to) but wind then blows harder, and it's still well below 50kn.

Useless piece of s*** This app basis wind speed off of what it hears ... you can blow into your speaker if you want the wind speed to go higher so if you're inside a building you cannot get the wind speed outside the building it does not use real anemometer readings from your local area total garbage nothing but a child's toy
