ZIP Extractor: RAR & 7z Opener

Got a .zip or .rar file you can’t open? ZIP Extractor opens it in one tap — ZIP, RAR, RAR5, 7z, TAR, GZ and more — even when it’s password-protected. Unzip, unrar and extract files straight to your phone, then find them again in seconds.

Open any archive
• ZIP file opener and RAR file opener in one app: ZIP, RAR, RAR5, 7z (7-Zip), TAR, TAR.GZ, TGZ, GZ, BZ2 and XZ
• Password-protected ZIP (AES-256 and ZipCrypto), RAR and 7z files
• RAR archives with encrypted file names, and multi-part RAR sets (part1.rar, part2.rar…) — open any part
• Look inside APK, XAPK, JAR, EPUB, CBZ and CBR files

Extract exactly what you need
• Unzip files with Extract All, or select only the files and folders you want
• Extract here, or pick any folder with “Extract to…”
• Open or share a single file without unzipping the whole archive
• Tidy results: each archive gets its own folder — never a messy “photos/photos” double folder
• Keep both, replace or skip when a file already exists

Create ZIP files
• ZIP maker: compress files and folders into a ZIP
• Lock it with an AES-256 password
• Choose fast or maximum compression to save space

A complete file manager
• Search every file on your phone by name — results appear as you type
• Browse by category: Images, Videos, Audio, Documents, Archives and APKs
• Internal storage and SD card, with Downloads and chat folders one tap away
• Move, copy, rename, delete and share files and folders
• Photo thumbnails; sort by name, date, size or kind

Works from any app
Tap a .zip or .rar in your browser downloads, a chat or another file manager, and choose ZIP Extractor. It opens straight away.

Private and safe
• Everything happens on your phone — your files are never uploaded
• Works offline
• Blocks harmful archives that try to write outside their folder (“zip slip”), and never follows links inside archives

Simple, clean design
Clear lists, light and dark mode, and progress you can cancel at any time.

How to unzip or unrar a file
1. Tap the archive in ZIP Extractor — or tap it in any app and choose ZIP Extractor
2. Enter the password, if it has one
3. Tap Extract All. Done.

Why “All files access”?
ZIP Extractor is a file manager for archives. It uses this permission to find archives anywhere on your phone and to save what you extract next to them. Files you open from other apps work without it.

Download ZIP Extractor, the ZIP and RAR extractor that just works, and open your next archive in seconds.

RAR is a registered trademark of Alexander Roshal. ZIP Extractor uses the UnRAR library to extract RAR archives; it cannot create RAR files.
