Karaoke Maker: Vocal Remover

The song you actually want to sing isn't in any karaoke app.

Every karaoke catalogue carries the same few thousand English hits. The track you love — the Sinhala song, the regional hit, the B-side, the one you downloaded years ago — isn't in it and never will be.

So make your own. Point this app at any song already on your phone and it removes the vocals, leaving you a clean instrumental to sing over.

HOW IT WORKS

An AI separation model runs on your phone. Not in a cloud — on the device in your hand. It listens to the song and pulls the voice away from the music, the same job a studio engineer would do with the original multitrack.

That means no upload, no waiting in a queue, no account, and no file size limit. It is a vocal remover that works fully offline — a three-minute song takes a few minutes on a mid-range phone, and it runs on a train with no signal.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Remove vocals from any song on your phone — MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC
• Works offline, with no account and no upload
• Make a karaoke track, instrumental or minus one from your own music
• Get synced lyrics that scroll in time with the song
• Add lyrics by hand, or tap them into time yourself, when none are found
• Sing over the instrumental and record your take
• Trim the silence off the start and end
• Shape your voice with Studio, Warm, Concert and Dream presets
• Balance your voice against the music with live faders
• Export as M4A, WAV or MP3 and share anywhere
• Keep the original untouched — nothing you import is ever overwritten

YOUR MUSIC STAYS ON YOUR PHONE

The separation happens on your device. Your songs, your recordings and your performances are never uploaded, never stored on a server, and never used to train anything. There is no account to create and no sign-in.

Looking up lyrics online is the one feature that reaches the internet, and it is switched off until you turn it on. It sends a song title and artist — never audio.

PRO

Free covers everything above, supported by ads.

Pro adds High and Lossless export quality and removes all ads. Take it monthly, or once as a lifetime purchase and never pay again.

GOOD TO KNOW

Separation is real processing, not a filter — it takes a few minutes per song and uses battery while it runs. Older phones with less memory use a faster, simpler method instead.

Results vary by recording. A clean modern mix separates beautifully. A dense live recording or a heavily reverbed vocal is harder, and some traces may remain.

Made for anyone whose favourite song was never going to make it into a karaoke catalogue.
