aery: screen time companion

you don't need another app that just says "stop."
you need one that gives you a reason to put your phone down.

aery is your screen time companion, a small creature that grows when you do real things and fades when you don't. complete quests, build streaks, earn xp, and unlock your apps only when you've earned them.

no lectures. no guilt. just a simple deal: do something first, then scroll.

— how it works

pick your quests. walk, read, stretch, clean, cook: choose from 28+ quests across fitness, mindfulness, learning, productivity, and daily life. or set your own.

earn xp and gems. every completed quest earns xp (your progress) and gems (your currency). gems unlock access to blocked apps. level up and unlock something even better.

make your aery yours. level up to unlock new colors, shapes, and styles for your companion. every player's aery looks different. your creature, your way. that's what keeps you coming back.

block what distracts you. add tiktok, instagram, youtube, or any app to your block list. set your own rules — choose what to block, when, and how.

watch your companion grow. your aery reflects your habits. stay consistent and it evolves. customize it, level it up, and build something that's yours.

build streaks. show up every day and your streak grows. miss a day and it resets. simple, effective, motivating.

— why aery works

other screen time apps block your phone and hope for the best. you bypass them in 10 seconds. aery works because it replaces the scroll with something better — and makes the process feel like progress, not punishment.

- blocking alone doesn't build habits. quests do.
- time limits feel arbitrary. earning your screen time feels fair.
- generic blockers are forgettable. a companion you styled yourself is not.
- guilt makes you avoid the app. a creature you care about makes you come back.
