Who can open an account? Swiss tax residents aged 18+ with a valid ID. Non-Swiss citizens need a valid B, C or Ci residence permit, or an FDFA legitimation card type B, C, D, E or R. If you are still waiting for your permit, you can provide the registration confirmation of your municipality and your employment contract instead, and send the permit within three months. Activate your account with a deposit from an account in your own name at a licensed bank in Switzerland or another FATF country. Transfers from Revolut, Wise and PayPal are not accepted.
