Altimeter Pro - GPS Altitude

Know your altitude anywhere, anytime. Whether you're hiking mountain trails, skiing steep slopes, or exploring new terrain — Altimeter Pro gives you precise elevation data using both GPS satellites and your iPhone's built-in barometric sensor.

WHY ALTIMETER PRO?

Your iPhone has powerful sensors most apps don't fully utilize. Altimeter Pro combines GPS triangulation with barometric pressure readings through an advanced sensor fusion algorithm. The result? Altitude measurements that are more accurate and responsive than either GPS or barometer alone.

ACCURATE ALTITUDE MEASUREMENT
• GPS altitude from satellite triangulation — works completely offline
• Barometric altitude using the built-in pressure sensor
• Smart sensor fusion combines both for best accuracy
• Automatic calibration with sea-level pressure reference
• Track minimum and maximum altitude during your session

FULL BAROMETER
• Real-time atmospheric pressure in hPa, inHg, or mmHg
• Monitor pressure changes that may indicate weather shifts
• Relative altitude tracking shows how much you've ascended or descended since launch

BUILT-IN COMPASS
• Smooth animated compass with true north heading
• Cardinal and intercardinal direction display
• Bearing in degrees for precise navigation

GPS & LOCATION
• Coordinates in both decimal degrees and DMS format
• Reverse geocoding shows your current place name
• Speed display and GPS accuracy indicators

ALTITUDE CHART
• Real-time graph plots your elevation over time
• See your ascent and descent profile at a glance
• Record sessions to capture your route's full elevation changes

DESIGNED FOR THE OUTDOORS
• Dark interface optimized for sunlight readability
• Large, bold altitude display readable at arm's length
• Single-screen dashboard — all data visible without navigating
• Works offline — no cellular signal required

PERFECT FOR
• Hikers and trekkers tracking elevation gain
• Skiers and snowboarders monitoring altitude on the slopes
• Mountain bikers riding technical terrain
• Paragliders and pilots checking altitude
• Fishermen and weather watchers tracking barometric pressure
• Surveyors and construction workers checking relative height
• Anyone curious about their current elevation
