Every AutoMiles feature is free and stays free: automatic logging, classification, monthly and quarterly reports, exports, vehicle costs. Nothing is locked behind a purchase, and nothing about the free app got smaller. Ads are what pay for the work. If you would rather not see them, AutoMiles Ad-Free removes every ad in the app — that is all it does — and it supports continued development.

Your deduction counts only the drives you confirmed
Auto-classification still labels every drive as it is saved, but a label it is not sure of now waits in your review queue instead of counting as a finished business mile. One tap each, and the guesses you correct still teach it. New installs outside the US start in kilometres where the country uses them. Starting a drive by hand no longer dead-ends when location access is off — the app offers to turn it on and picks the recording back up.

More than one car, more than one workplace
Add your vehicles and every drive is tagged with the car you were in — switch cars in one tap, and get a mileage report for each vehicle. Register more than one regular workplace, and drives between them count as business. A drive that wasn't yours — a taxi, a friend's car — takes one swipe to exclude, and stays a tap away in the new Excluded tab.

Reports for any month or quarter
Export a summary report for a single month or quarter, not just the whole tax year — the right period for quarterly estimated taxes and monthly reimbursement claims. Early each month, your home screen offers last month's report. Drive thumbnails now draw instantly and turn into the real map once you open a drive.

A deduction that follows the real IRS rate
2026 is a split year: the IRS standard mileage rate is 72.5 cents through 30 June and 76 cents from 1 July. AutoMiles prices every business mile against the rate that was in force on the day you drove it, so the second half of the year is not quietly under-counted. Your dashboard leads with the number that matters — your estimated deduction — for this month or the whole tax year.
