BlackBox Memories

Memories fade if we don’t pin them down. That’s why we built BlackBox—a privacy-first memory app that prioritizes genuine connection and the sharing of meaningful stories and experiences. If that sounds good, Blackbox is the app for you. Our app is all about authentic connection and documenting the stories and life events that matter to you.

Whether you want to build your memories with a select group of friends or keep them fully private for your own reflection, Blackbox gives you the control and flexibility to share as much or as little as you'd like.
It's for people who want to capture life’s stories (big or small) without broadcasting every moment. Whether you’re uploading travel photos, jotting down random inside jokes from 20 years ago, or journaling your child’s first steps, you decide who sees each memory.

Private First: End-to-end encryption and user-controlled sharing. If you don’t invite someone, they won’t even know the memory exists.
Map & Timeline: Pin memories to exact times and locations or keep it vague. (you can drop a marker on your childhood backyard, or just a city or country you visited, You can only a vague year, or the exact dates)

Flexible Formats: Text, links, photos, videos, audio—whatever helps you remember that moment best.

It’s a Little Rough: We’re still shaping BlackBox, so are looking for early testers get to help guide the vision. See something that feels off, or just doesn't work? Call trash on it. We want honest feedback.
If you’re into journaling, scrapbooking, or just collecting life’s highlights on your own terms, come test BlackBox. This is your chance to influence our direction, refine the experience, and decide if a “digital legacy” is something you'd find meaningful.

Ready to build a private Memory Map of your life? Download BlackBox and join our early community of testers! We’re excited to see what you think.
