Since antiquity, each day and night has been divided into twelve unequal hours, each governed by one of the seven classical planets in the Chaldean order. Planetary Clock computes these hours with astronomical accuracy from the true sunrise and sunset in the city you choose.
• Current planetary hour — see which planet rules right now, with a live countdown to the next hour.
• Apple Watch — the ruling planet and the minutes left in this hour, right on your watch face and in the Smart Stack. Hours are computed on the watch, so it works even when your iPhone is out of reach.
• Widgets — the ruling planet and the minutes left in this hour on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, with the hours ahead and the whole day in the larger sizes.
• Ruler of the day — the classical planet that governs today.
• Upcoming hours — a clear timeline of the planetary hours ahead, from sunrise to sunset and through the night.
• Moon phase — the current phase and illumination of the Moon.
• Monthly calendar — lunar phases and planetary hours at a glance.
• 3D chart — your birth chart rendered in three dimensions, with transits and aspects.
• Clavis AI (optional subscription) — ask about the ruler of the hour, today's events or a planet in your chart; nothing is sent until you agree.
• Sync across devices — sign in and your calendar and chart settings follow you.
Planetary Clock is free: the hours, the calendar, the 3D chart, the widgets and the Apple Watch app need no subscription. The optional Clavis AI subscription, monthly or annual with a free trial when your Apple Account is eligible, adds an assistant that answers questions about your day, the planetary hours and your chart, in the tone of the traditions. No ads, and no tracking. If you prefer not to subscribe, you can support the app with a tip, which unlocks nothing, or with a support pass that unlocks Clavis AI for 30 or 90 days, with no automatic renewal.
Signing in with Apple or Google keeps your data in step across your devices. You pick your city by searching for it — the app does not use GPS — and every planetary hour is computed from that city's coordinates and time zone, so the same place is used on every device.
