It reads the days you already keep in Apple Health. When steps fall under your recent usual and workouts go quiet, it says so once. There is no lecture, and nothing sends you back to the beginning.
Today is a small list: a short workout, a protein-first breakfast, and 6,000 steps. The check-in is weight, workout, and meals. It is meant to take about 15 seconds. Open it again the same day and you are editing that day, not adding another.
The comeback count only goes up. The first check-in is 1. You get another when you check in after a day away. Days in a row do not add a point, and a missed day never subtracts one.
Momentum is the last 7 days, with today counting more than a day last week. A missed day lowers the number. It does not wipe it.
If you want a ramp, choose 3 days or 7. Three days starts at 3,000 steps and is back to 6,000 on the last day. Seven days starts at 2,000. A workout is optional at the start. A quiet day stays on its own date.
Apple Health is read on this iPhone: steps, workouts, body weight, and active energy. Comeback Habit does not add or change anything in Health. You can skip Health and still check in. Steps and workouts are what the quiet-stretch check uses. Active energy is read and stored on the day. It does not decide the flag.
The log stays on the phone, in a private database. There is no account. Check-ins and Health data are not uploaded.
Comeback Habit is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, or replace a doctor. If you are injured, only do what you have already been cleared to do.
