Conduit Bend: Sales & Layout

Thank you for using ConduitBend. Your care with measurements and customer needs is what makes a sound conduit job and a useful equipment proposal. ConduitBend gives that work a place to live, from the first bend layout to the final quote.

Use Sales to turn a contractor's repeat conduit work into a discussion backed by recorded observations and stated costs. Use Bend Proof when you need to check the geometry behind the job. The app keeps those steps close together on iPhone and iPad.

When a contractor asks whether a new bender is worth the price, start with an actual assembly and a timed run. If the job is mainly about bend layout, open Bend Proof and get to the marks without setting up a sales record.

For customer and equipment work, you can:

- Keep customer and project opportunities together, with a clear record of the work being discussed.
- Bring in customer details from Apple Contacts when you choose, or enter them yourself.
- Define repeat assemblies with quantities, conduit type, trade size, revision, tolerances, labels, and approval status.
- Link a saved bend calculation to an assembly so its layout stays with the specification.
- Record benders, shoes, tables, and accessories in equipment capability profiles.
- Keep the manufacturer source and literature revision date beside a capability claim.
- Time current and proposed setup and production during a customer demonstration.
- Record accepted output, rejected work, material loss, consumables, and labor rates.
- See the observed cost per acceptable assembly instead of relying on cycle time alone.
- Compare monthly output, released labor capacity, cash impact, and modeled payback.
- Keep labor hours separate from cash savings unless you enter an expense that can actually be reduced.
- Explore purchase, financing, maintenance, training, and rental assumptions.
- Compare fabrication in the field, in the contractor's shop, or through purchased prefabrication.
- Price a complete equipment package with the items and amounts you enter.
- Add your report identity and share a PDF savings report with the trial figures and assumptions visible.

For conduit layout, Bend Proof helps you:

- Calculate two-bend and rolling offsets, matching bends, and center spacing.
- Plan three-point and four-point saddles, kicks, parallel runs, and 90-degree bends.
- Check compound bends around round, square, and rectangular obstructions.
- Work through segmented 90-degree layouts when a single bend is not the plan.
- Enter conduit outside diameter and choose a saved bender or shoe with its centerline radius.
- Use a bender multiplier when the selected setup calls for one.
- Read bend length, deduct or take-up, shrink or gain, and mark positions in one result.
- View lengths in inches, feet and inches, or centimeters.
- Save a setup, return to an earlier calculation, and share or print a result when needed.

The rest of the app stays useful between visits:

- History lets you browse saved calculations and load an earlier setup.
- Statistics shows calculation activity, common bend types, and length trends.
- Reference brings formulas, safety notes, sources, and calculator shortcuts together.
- JSON backup and restore help you move saved app records. CSV export is available for individual record types.
- A companion Apple Watch app offers quick two-bend offset, three-point saddle, and 90-degree stub calculations with local presets.

Sales comparisons are estimates based on the observations and assumptions you enter. Check equipment capability against current manufacturer information, and confirm site conditions, code, material, and commercial terms before using a result in a purchase decision. Some calculators and data tools require Conduit Pro.
