Container Tracker App

Container Tracker App is a global cargo-tracking application designed for importers, exporters, distributors, logistics professionals, and businesses that need a simple way to follow their ocean freight shipments.
International cargo can travel thousands of kilometres, pass through multiple ports, and spend weeks in transit before reaching its final destination. Container Tracker brings the important shipment information together in one easy-to-use mobile application, allowing users to follow their cargo from origin to destination using the container number associated with their shipment.

What Container Tracker App Does

Users enter a valid shipping container number into the app to retrieve available tracking information for that container. The app presents the shipment’s progress in a clear, mobile-friendly format so that users can quickly understand where their cargo is and what is happening with the shipment.
Depending on the tracking information available for a particular shipment, Container Tracker can provide details such as:
Container identification and tracking information
Current shipment or container status
Origin and destination information
Vessel and voyage information
Ports associated with the shipment
Estimated arrival information
Important shipment events and milestones
The progress of the container through its international journey
Designed for Businesses Managing Multiple Containers
Importers and exporters frequently have more than one container moving at the same time. Container Tracker allows users to save containers they are following rather than repeatedly entering container numbers.
Each saved container can also be given a custom name or description. For example, instead of having to remember that UETU6763871 contains a particular shipment, a user can label it something meaningful to their business, such as “XYZ Company.”
This makes it much easier to identify and manage multiple active shipments.
Saved containers can be selected again to quickly refresh their tracking information and continue following their journey.

A Practical Tool for Global Trade

Container Tracker is intended to make international shipment tracking more accessible to the people who actually own, import, export, sell, or are waiting for the cargo.
Rather than requiring users to navigate multiple carrier websites or repeatedly search for container information, the app provides a convenient central place on their iPhone or iPad to organize and follow their shipments.
A wine importer waiting for a container from Italy, a manufacturer receiving components from Asia, an exporter shipping products overseas, or a small business receiving its first international container can all use the same straightforward workflow:

Enter the container → Track the shipment → Save it → Give it a recognizable name → Follow its journey.

Container Tracker turns a complex part of international logistics into a simple mobile experience and gives importers and exporters a practical way to keep their cargo information close at hand wherever they are. Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
