Daily Myrrh

Daily Myrrh is a quiet place to be with God through your day: the saints to read and listen to, and the Church's prayers to pray, from morning to night.

READ AND LISTEN TO THE SAINTS
More than forty classics of the Catholic tradition, in a calm reader. Read a book straight through, chapter to chapter, and it keeps your place.
• The Confessions and The City of God, St. Augustine
• The Imitation of Christ, Thomas à Kempis
• Introduction to the Devout Life, St. Francis de Sales
• The Interior Castle and her Life, St. Teresa of Ávila
• The Story of a Soul, St. Thérèse of Lisieux
• The Dark Night and The Living Flame, St. John of the Cross
• The Four Gospels, the Psalms, the Summa, Dante, Julian of Norwich, Newman, Brother Lawrence, Chesterton and many more
The Companion: in the Gospels, the Summa, the Imitation of Christ and the Devout Life, a dotted word opens a short note on what it means, where Scripture and the saints say it, and where it reaches back into the Old Testament. The notes are written with AI and checked against the sources they cite.
Many are narrated in a warm, natural voice: press Play and put the phone down. On select books, Ask about a line explains a sentence you don't understand.

PRAY WITH THE CHURCH
• The Rosary, the Nightly Examen and Compline, the Church's night prayer
• Growing in virtue: a resolution for the day, a midday renewal, and help before, during and after temptation
• Novenas, the Stations of the Cross and Total Consecration
• Guided meditations drawn from the saints' own words
• Today in the Church: the saint or feast of the day, its sacred art and the Mass readings
• Stories of Our Lady: Guadalupe, Lourdes and Fatima

YOUR PRAYERS
Pray out loud and Daily Myrrh writes your prayer down, so the prayers of your own heart are kept. Keep the people you have promised to pray for, and a reminder on the day that matters.

PRAY TOGETHER
• Prayer circles: a few people carrying one another's intentions, joined only by invitation
• Parish circles, with homilies kept with the parish
• Care rooms for a family going through something hard
• Pray the Rosary together, live
• Send a prayer or a reading to a friend by text

ALSO IN SPANISH
The whole app, the prayers and the practices in Spanish (the Companion is in English for now), with St. Teresa's Las moradas, Camino de perfección and Libro de la vida, St. John of the Cross, the Gospels and The Imitation of Christ.
