DayChunk is an ADHD-friendly visual planner that turns your day into calm, manageable chunks instead of overwhelming to-do lists.
Designed for busy, easily distracted and overstimulated brains, DayChunk helps you see exactly what fits into today without guilt, pressure or noisy notifications. Most features work entirely offline on your iPhone, with an optional AI helper powered by ChatGPT when you want extra support.
Plan your day in visual chunks:
* See your day split into clear, simple sections * Add, edit and delete tasks or focus blocks inside each chunk * Quickly spot overload and where you actually have breathing room * Build gentle routines instead of starting from zero every morning
ADHD-friendly, low-clutter design:
* Minimal interface that’s easy to scan at a glance * Big, readable sections instead of tiny buried lists * Built to reduce decision fatigue and “where do I even start?”
Offline-first with optional AI helper: * All core planning, tasks and mood/energy logs are stored locally on your device * No account, login or cloud backup required * No ads, trackers or hidden analytics
If you choose to use the optional AI helper, your prompt is sent securely to OpenAI’s ChatGPT API so we can generate planning suggestions and ideas. This feature is clearly labelled, requires an internet connection and is not required to use the main planner.
Mood and energy awareness: * Log simple mood or energy alongside your plan * Notice patterns between how you schedule your day and how you feel * Use those insights to design days that are kinder to your brain
