Days Anchor - Countdown Events

Days Anchor is a widget-first countdown app. Four widget styles, two sizes, one idea: put the dates that matter right on your Home Screen.

WIDGET-FIRST, ALWAYS

• Four widget styles: Ring, Dot Grid, Bar, Text
• Small and medium sizes for every style
• Sub-styles you can cycle in the editor: circular or square dots, straight or curved bars
• The in-app grid renders the same widgets you'd pin to your Home Screen — what you see is what you get


COUNT DOWN OR COUNT UP

• Days until a trip, a wedding, an exam, a launch
• Days since a birthday, an anniversary, a quit date
• Every widget flips automatically the moment the date passes


RECURRING EVENTS

• Weekly, monthly, or yearly repeats
• Leap-day anchors (Feb 29) clamp correctly
• Widgets always show the next occurrence, never a stale past date
• Optional reminders fire on the next occurrence and reschedule themselves


LUNAR CALENDAR

• Mark any yearly event as 农历 (Chinese lunar)
• Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn, lunar birthdays — all recur by lunar month and day, not by Gregorian date
• Native lunar date picker in the editor when enabled in Settings


TAGS AND NOTES

• Attach tags to any event from a shared vocabulary — type a tag once, reuse it forever
• Rename a tag in one place; every event updates everywhere
• Free-form notes for the context that doesn't fit in the event name


ICLOUD SYNC, ZERO SETUP

• Events, tags, and notes sync across iPhone and iPad via iCloud
• A sync banner tells you when a change is still in flight
• Account-swap detection keeps other Apple IDs' data off your devices
• Everything works offline; changes reconcile when you're back online


DESIGNED FOR iOS

• Per-event color picker drawn from a curated palette
• App icon adapts to iOS 18 Light, Dark, and Tinted appearances
