Derd is more than a prayer-times app: a calm prayer companion that gets to know you, reminds you your way and asks "did you pray?". It never shames or compares: no streaks, no badges, no one else's numbers. No ads, no tracking.
On first launch it asks four short questions — your name, where you are with prayer, when you want to be reminded and what you'll use Derd for most. Your answers shape the reminders, the Today screen and the tab it opens on. You can change all of it later in Settings.
Highlights:
• "Did you pray?" — when a prayer time begins, the Today screen asks; one tap marks it. With tracking on, the "Prayed" button on the notification marks it without opening the app.
• Reminders before a time ends — when it begins, 15/30/45 minutes before it ends, or both. If you've already prayed, that reminder doesn't come. Notifications can use your name.
• Tracking — the month's calendar, a seven-day summary and your make-up log in one place. No ratios, no shaming; the numbers are only for you.
• Colours that follow the day — mint in the morning, sun yellow at midday, apricot in the afternoon, crimson at sunset, purple at night. Text stays readable in every one.
• Live countdown — to the next prayer, and in Ramadan to iftar and suhoor; on the Lock Screen, in the Dynamic Island and in widgets.
• Qibla compass — bring the Kaaba marker to the notch at the top of the dial; the screen glows and the phone taps gently when you're aligned. The qibla angle and the distance to the Kaaba are always on screen.
• How to pray — 30 step-by-step guides from ablution to the funeral prayer, following the Hanafi (Diyanet) school. Recited texts in Arabic with transliteration and source. (The explanations are currently in Turkish.)
• Blessed days — holy nights, Eids, their eves and the three holy months, with a countdown, colour-coded by type.
• Tasbih and "What do you need?" — a dhikr counter you swipe like real prayer beads, a Home Screen widget, and duas by need.
• Monthly prayer times — from the "This month's times" shortcut on the Today screen, and in Settings.
Everything above is free. No ads, no tracking, no account.
