Echo: K-pop Live Translate

Live captions, floating over the app you are already watching.

Echo listens to whatever is playing — a livestream, a video, the room around you — and floats the translated captions in a small window on top of it. Nothing gets covered. Nothing gets missed.

THREE WAYS TO TRANSLATE
• Live audio. Sound coming from any other app — Weverse, bubble, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok — translated as it plays.
• On-screen text. Comments, chats, posts and menus, translated right where you are reading them.
• Around me. Point your iPhone or iPad at a concert, a TV or a conversation and read along live.

BUILT FOR THE HARDEST VERSION OF THIS
Echo was built for K-pop fans, which is this problem with no margin for error: the live happens once, it is in Korean, and the names have to be right.
• 300+ group names, member names and fandom terms, spelled the way fans actually write them.
• 40+ languages, with the spoken language detected automatically.
• Captions arrive while they are still talking, not after.
• iPhone and iPad. On iPad, Home, history, sharing, setup and the plan screen are laid out for the bigger display.

NEW: YOUR GROUPS IN ONE PLACE
• The Feed. Lives, new videos, news and posts from the groups you follow, with the headlines translated into your language. Tap a video or a live and Echo translates it. A daily digest catches you up on what you missed. The Feed is rolling out gradually, so it may not appear for you right away.
• Live alerts. Get a notification when a group you follow goes live, so you are there from the first word.

KEEP EVERY MOMENT
• Every session is saved and named for you, like "Friday night live". Free keeps your latest three; Echo Plus keeps them all, to reread, copy or share.
• Turn the best lines into share cards. Five styles: a single quote, both languages together, or the conversation exactly as it was said.
• A translation came out wrong? One tap tells us. We read every thumbs-down.

QUIET BY DEFAULT
• On-screen text can translate on device, where your iPhone or iPad supports it — faster, and it works offline. Live audio always needs a connection.
• No sign-up, no account. Open it and go.
• Echo is not a screen recorder. It uses only the audio or screen text you choose to translate, and never bypasses DRM or platform protections.

FREE EVERY DAY
Echo includes a free daily translation allowance. Two optional upgrades remove it.

Echo Plus. Translate past the free daily allowance, up to a 5-hour daily fair-use limit set out in the Terms of Use. Your full session history instead of only the latest three, synced across your devices. Eligible new subscribers start with 3 days free on the weekly plan, where available.

Day Pass. One night, no subscription. 90 minutes of translation, valid 24 hours.

Echo Plus is an auto-renewing subscription available weekly, monthly or yearly. Eligible new subscribers start with a 3-day free trial on the weekly plan, where available. Some new subscribers are offered a discounted first year; it renews at that offer's own yearly price, and both the first-year and renewal prices are shown before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store settings. Price and renewal terms are shown before purchase.
Day Pass is a one-time purchase granting 90 minutes of translation, valid 24 hours. It is not a subscription and does not auto-renew. Unused time expires, and a used pass cannot be restored.
