EMBO app - Screen Time Control

EMBO helps you interrupt compulsive phone habits—not by banning your phone, but by adding a purposeful pause when the urge hits.

When you open an app you’ve flagged (Instagram, TikTok, news, email—your choice), iOS shows an EMBO shield. That moment is the point: notice the impulse, use your EMBO device to surf the urge, and choose what happens next.

HOW IT WORKS
• Enter your activation code (included with your EMBO purchase)
• Allow Screen Time so EMBO can protect the apps you choose
• Flag the apps you open out of impulse and that drain your screen time
• Set Total or Partial blocking and a schedule that fits your day
• When the urge hits, meet the shield—then Surf, or (on Partial) wait and open briefly

TOTAL VS PARTIAL
• Total: stay out. Surf the urge and move on.
• Partial: a short wait, then you can choose to Open anyway for a limited time—then EMBO reblocks so one unlock doesn’t become an hour scroll.

BUILT AROUND YOUR ROUTINE
EMBO app is designed as an additional tool to the EMBO device: friction on the phone, a physical reset in your hand. EMBO device isn’t required to use the app, but it’s the habit system the product is built for.

INSIGHTS & LEARNING
• See how often you hit the shield, surf, or open anyway
• Set simple daily goals
• Read short learning pills on attention, urges, and phone habits

PRIVACY-FIRST
EMBO uses Apple Screen Time technologies on your device so you can limit apps you select. Habit stats used in the app are kept on your iPhone. EMBO is for adults managing their own phone use—not parental controls for someone else’s device.

Ready to trade autopilot for discipline? Flag your habit apps and meet the urge with EMBO.
