eSuite: sheet music

eSuite is a sheet music app for iPad and iPhone. It lets you import PDF scores, organize them, annotate with Apple Pencil, and read or perform from them.

It's free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no account is required.

Annotations

• Mark up scores with Apple Pencil: pen, pencil, marker, eraser, ruler, and color picker
• On iPad, just start drawing with Apple Pencil — no need to switch into an editing mode first
• Annotations are stored per page

Collaboration

• Share your annotations with bandmates, students, or ensemble members with a simple link
• Recipients see your markings layered over their own copy of the score, alongside their own notes
• Always live: as you keep marking up a score, your changes flow to everyone who has it open, in near real-time
• Only your annotations are shared — never the PDF — so everyone works from their own copy of the music
• Live updates are end-to-end encrypted, and everything keeps working offline and catches up later

Adding music

• Import PDFs from Files, iCloud Drive, or anywhere on your device
• Import an entire folder at once
• Scan paper music with your camera
• Import an existing forScore library

Organizing

• Search across titles, composers, and details
• Sort and filter by composer, instrument, genre, and period
• Browse in grid or list view
• Group scores into Playlists (which replace the old Tags and Setlists)
• Play through a Playlist in order — turn past the last page of a score to move to the next

Reading and performing

• Turn pages with a tap at the edge of the page, a Bluetooth foot pedal, or an external keyboard
• Pinch to zoom
• Drag the page scrubber to move through a score, with thumbnail previews and bookmark markers
• Bookmark pages, shown as markers on the scrubber
• Performance Mode hides the interface for a full-screen view

Sync

• iCloud sync keeps your library current across devices
• Works fully offline; your scores are stored on your device
• No account needed

Privacy

• No tracking, no ads, and no data collection
