Genius Recorder

Genius Recorder

Manual recording and the library remain free. Reservations, calendar, place, Bluetooth, and flip automatic recording require Pro.

Meeting · Place · Date

You must tap and confirm the start notification to record. Recording duration is measured from the actual start time.

iOS detects entry into and exit from registered places, and detection may be delayed. Start recording after confirming the entry notification.

When a Bluetooth connection is detected, a recording starts with a default duration of 60 minutes. You must stop the recording manually in the app; disconnecting the device does not stop it. Shortcuts opens the app and may require the device to be unlocked. In-app connection detection checks only the active Bluetooth audio route while the app is in the foreground. Operation while the device is locked is not guaranteed.

Flip and proximity sensors are detected only while the screen is on and the app is in the foreground. Place the device face down and keep it close for 1 second to start recording; pick it up to stop. Leaving the screen ends detection and recording.

Speech recognition permission is requested at your first recording. Repeated words are analyzed on supported devices and languages, on device. Audio and full transcripts are not sent to a server.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store account. A free trial is shown only if the App Store determines that you are eligible for the selected product.
