Hacka Health is a cloud based system which helps you to manage your CF your way. It helps you to stay connected with your healthcare team and family for those times when you need some extra support and encouragement.

The Hacka Health mobile application enables you to receive a personalised program, receive updates from your healthcare team, set daily routines and reminders and track and record your physical activity & cardiovascular exercise. For our younger users, Hacka Health provides a dashboard for your parents & guardians so that they can see how you are getting on, which hopefully means they won’t need to ask if you’ve completed your treatments. Who knows, you might receive a reward for all your hard work!

In order to get started, simply follow the instructions in the welcome email you receive from your healthcare team.

As soon as you have completed the initial setup, you can create daily routines which help to make your day that bit easier. Hacka Health can automatically track your physical activity and cardiovascular exercise using data from the Health app and other popular apps and wearables. This will show you if you are on track to complete your daily targets set by your healthcare team.

The goal of Hacka Health is to take some of the workload of managing CF off your hands, so that you can spend more time doing the things you want to do.

Note: On devices without motion detection capability, Hacka Health will periodically request location information to help track and recognise your activity. The application has been optimised to use as little power as possible, however, continued use of GPS and location services whilst running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
