I love Active Armor, so much help, until it started having app issues which was due to a 3rd party or something else hacked in and was controlling your phone and doing all other crazy things. It was a nightmare. I just archived it after I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and it still had the same issues. I wouldn't download it!!!! Then I left it uninstalled and cancelled my subscription for I don't know how long, but I installed it back, and it's doing good, so I thought, still App issues, fix!!!

By and large, I've been happy with Active Armor. My complaint is call log. Since 06.23.2026, the app stopped tracking my calls. Yes, I erased cache. Yes, I reinstalled about 4 times. Nothing. All permissions required are yes on my phone. Vexing.

How do I disable the constant scanning. I think it drains my battery to scan 640 files every hour, I literally haven't installed anything in the past 3 years, and I use another app to scan my apk files because the active armor doesn't scan those fully anyway. I just use this for blocking scam calls which used to be lovely when this active armor use to be separated into its own apps, but instead I have this app running constantly to give me never ending buzzing and alerts that its scanning is done.

Definitely isn't worth 7 dollars a month. The VPN and Safe Browsing always disables itself... Plus it also messes up your data connection and Wi-Fi... Has been an ongoing issue for months and months.

Useless for spam calls. My phone already tells me an incoming call is potential spam, but the calls still come through, a couple dozen a day. I thought this would block them, but it doesn't, it's just one more notification when a call comes in. I used the free version, but if I can't get a basic use why would I pay for it?
