HolyLock: Bible Before Phone

HolyLock is for the days when your hand finds your phone before it finds your Bible.

Tell us how your heart is today — heavy, hopeful, tender, restless — and HolyLock answers with one of 294 hand-curated passages, chosen from a quiet conversation between your mood and your season. No reading plans to fall behind on. No streaks to dread. Just Scripture, met to where you are.

Then choose the apps you'd like to set down for a while. HolyLock holds them gently — they wait until you've spent a few minutes with the Word. When you're ready, they return.

This is an app made for women who want a softer way back to daily Scripture. The pace is calm. The art is hand-painted. The voice is steady, not striving.

WHAT MAKES HOLYLOCK DIFFERENT

· Mood × Relationship matching — your daily passage comes from a 5×5 grid of emotional and spiritual states, not a one-size daily verse
· 294 curated passages, each with a plain-language context note and a chosen verse for sharing
· "Soul need" onboarding question that personalizes the first month of reading
· Berean Standard Bible and King James Version included — switch between modern English and the 1611 classic, anytime
· Gentle blocking via Apple's Screen Time framework — you remain the sole user and administrator
· "First Scripture" anchor — your very first reading is Matthew 11:28–30: "Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"
· A quiet daily streak so you can see your weeks of practice take shape
