Home Manager: Shopping List

Home Manager keeps your shopping list, pantry stock, what you spend, what you save, the dates that matter and the notes worth keeping in one local app — no account, no ads, no subscription.

AT A GLANCE
- what you still need to buy
- what is running low or about to expire
- how much you have spent this month
- how much you have resisted spending
- which date is coming up
- chores due today
- notes the household keeps coming back to

SHOPPING LIST
- add items with a quantity and a unit
- send low-stock items to the list in one tap, with the amount you choose
- tick items off as you buy them
- bought items go back into your stock automatically, with undo
- the same name with a different unit stays a separate item
- share the list as plain text

STOCK AND ITEMS
- quantity, unit, category, expiry date and minimum stock
- low stock, expiring and expired at a glance, and you choose how early an expiry counts: 3, 7, 14 or 30 days
- record a purchase date and see how many days a device has been in use
- count how often you use something and mark the ones you love
- adjust quantities from the list, search, and build your own categories
- record a unit price and turn one shopping trip into one expense

WARDROBE
- single pieces with a type, brand and colour: tops, bottoms, outerwear, shoes, accessories
- build combinations out of them, and see which combinations a piece appears in
- deleting a piece takes it out of its combinations instead of leaving a hole

DATES
- count up what already happened, count down to what you are waiting for
- whole-day maths, so today reads the same however often you open it
- pin the important ones and get a warning one, three or seven days ahead

EXPENSES AND BUDGET
- daily ledger with amount, category and note
- monthly statistics: total, change against last month, category breakdown, trend and daily average
- a budget per category, with warnings when you get close and when you go over
- recurring bills such as water, electricity, gas, internet and rent generate entries you simply confirm
- repair records with status, vendor, location and cost
- share a monthly report as text, and deleted entries stay in the trash for 30 days

SAVINGS
- savings jars with a goal, where every deposit and withdrawal carries its own date
- a nest egg: every time you resist a purchase, one entry lands there instead
- your total resisted count and amount, with a six-month trend
- a reward fund for the treats you decide you have earned

CRAVINGS
- log how many times you have thought about buying something
- set your own threshold, and the reminder tells you when you reach it
- quick tags such as over budget, not really needed, waiting for a sale, never tried it

CHORES, NOTES AND WISHLISTS
- daily, weekly and monthly chore templates, with today's tasks generated from each cycle
- notes for the information a household keeps coming back to, kept as plain notes, a wishlist of places and food you want, or moments worth keeping
- tags on stock, notes, dates and pieces: search finds them, and leaving them empty is fine

REMINDERS
- one daily reminder that names what actually needs attention: expiring stock, low stock, bills to confirm, budgets over the limit, cravings past your threshold, dates coming up, chores due today and open repairs
- choose the time, and how many days ahead dates and expiries should warn you
- tap it to jump straight to that section — a summary, not a nag

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
- everything is stored locally on your device
- works offline
- no sign-up, no tracking, no ads, no subscription
