Homie: Foster & Adopt

Foster a dog for the timeframes you set.

Tonight there's a dog near you sleeping in a kennel who just needs somewhere quieter to wait. A couch. A weekend. A human who talks to them. That's fostering, and it's a small hand in saving more than one life with every dog you advocate for.

Homie connects you with local rescues and fosters in your area, so you never feel like you're doing it alone.

FIND YOUR DOG
See who needs out near you. Short stays, long hauls, weekend coverage · every listing says what the dog needs and for how long. Follow the rescues you love and their dogs show up first.

LOST AND FOUND
Lost your dog, saw one running loose, or have a found dog safe with you? Post it in about two minutes. It goes up on a board neighbors and rescues nearby can see, as a list or on a map. Anyone can add a sighting, follow along, and chat with the people looking. Saved locations are stripped from your photos and videos before they upload.

NEVER FOSTER ALONE
The day-to-day lives in one place: med reminders you check off, weights, photos, and notes your rescue actually sees. Need supplies, backup for a trip, or a vet question answered? One tap asks your whole team. Something urgent? Flag it and staff are paged instantly.

JOIN THE VILLAGE
Fosters near you cover for each other · a sleepover while you travel, a ride to the vet, a crate when yours is spoken for. You bring what you've got. It counts.

ADVOCATE FROM YOUR POCKET
Every dog gets a shareable page you can drop in a group chat or an Instagram bio. Post moments from your couch and the rescue can use them to get your foster seen, and adopted.

MORE WAYS TO SUPPORT
Not ready to foster? Drive a transport leg, show up to an event, pledge toward a dog's vet bill, or help look when a dog goes missing near you.

Homie is free for fosters, adopters, and volunteers. Rescues run their whole operation on it, intake to adoption day. Yours isn't on Homie yet? Tell them: homierescue.com
