ONE GROUP, MANY CITIES Grow a single save from one city into seven. Reach Brand Tier 3 and the world opens up: take your London group to Paris, Tokyo or New York with your cash, brand, loans and art behind you. Each city runs its own market, rivals, events and seasons, and you switch between them with a tap. Opening abroad costs real money, every city needs a regional office, and guests take time to learn the new name in town.

SEVEN CITIES, SEVEN GAMES London is where the empire begins. New York has bigger rooms and bigger debt. Paris has old money and thin margins. Tokyo's seasons are short and violent. Copenhagen's winters are long and its wages high. Barcelona issues no new licences in its centre. And in Singapore, every site is sold by government tender. BUY, LEASE AND BUILD Lease your first hotel, buy the next on a mortgage, take over a struggling rival, or brief a broker to find exactly what you want. With the Building Permit, buy land and build hotels to your own design — rooms, tier, star rating, facilities and room mix.

HIRE AND LEAD YOUR TEAM Receptionists, housekeepers, chefs, concierges, managers and more. Your star rating sets who you need. Underpay them and they walk; understaff a five-star hotel and your reputation goes with them.

FINANCE YOUR GROWTH Business loans, mortgages and development finance, at rates that move with the economy. Progressive corporation tax, shown band by band. Borrow smart.

BID FOR THE CITY'S LANDMARKS Close a year in the top tax band and the city invites you to tender. Bid for historic buildings to convert to your own design, or fight rival groups at auction for grand hotels already trading. (Building Permit.)

COMPETE WITH RIVAL GROUPS Every district is full of independent hotels, and named rival groups expand, buy each other out and bid against you for the best sites. Climb the leaderboard — or buy your rivals outright.
