If you are the host, you have the start button and can start the game. You can invite others (in which case you are the host) or play through auto-play in which case the host is randomly chosen.
If you are playing over wifi you can use in-game chat.
There are two leaderboards: One for wins and one for rounds survived.
It's also nice to play by yourself. Just go through the maze and flick the potato away when done. It comes right back to you with the next maze. There is also single player play against the computer.
