InkedApp: Pen Pals & Letters

Somewhere in the world, someone is writing a letter to you.

InkedApp is a pen pal app for people who miss real letters. Find someone on the other side of the world, write to them properly, seal the envelope — and then wait. Because a letter that arrives instantly is not a letter.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Spin the compass and meet someone in another country.
2. Choose your paper, your ink and your envelope, write your letter, and press the wax seal.
3. Wait. Your letter crosses the world in real hours — and one day the reply arrives, sealed, waiting for you to break it open.

SPIN THE COMPASS
Turn the compass and it lands on one stranger: a new country, a new life, a new story. No swiping, no endless grid of profiles — just one possible pen pal at a time. Write to them, or spin again.

MATCHED BY WHAT YOU LOVE
Poetry, music, cinema, history, astronomy, gardening, mythology, philosophy — 33 interests to choose from. The compass brings you pen pals who share them, so the first letter is never hard to start.

LETTERS TAKE TIME TO ARRIVE
This is the heart of InkedApp. Your letter travels a real distance in real hours:
• Same country — 1 to 2 hours
• Same continent — 6 to 8 hours
• Across the ocean — up to a full day
Write tonight, and a reply may be waiting for you tomorrow evening. The way it used to be.

BREAK THE WAX SEAL
Every letter arrives sealed. Tap to crack the wax and unfold it — a small moment, and the best one in the app.

YOUR DESK, YOUR STATIONERY
23 kinds of paper, 12 inks and 6 envelopes. Write on aged parchment, marbled ebru, an antique decree or a page torn from a notebook. Sign it in night blue, emerald or royal gold. Everything you unlock is yours forever — nothing runs out, nothing expires.

INK DROPS
Ink Drops are what you write with — 10 for a letter. Earn them every day you return, for every letter you open, and for keeping your streak alive.

THE NOTICE BOARD
Pin a note where the whole world can read it — "looking for a pen pal who writes long letters about the sea" — and see who answers.

YOUR PASSPORT
A stamped identity for the world of letters: your name, your country, and every letter you have ever sent.

PRACTISE A LANGUAGE, MEET A CULTURE
Many people use pen pal letters to practise a language with someone who actually speaks it. A letter is the gentlest way: you have time to look things up, time to think, and nobody is waiting on a typing indicator. Ask what breakfast looks like in Jakarta, or what people argue about in Lima.

WORDS ONLY — NO PHOTOS
There is no photo sharing in InkedApp, and no plan to add it. You are known by what you write, not how you look.

A COMMUNITY THAT STAYS KIND
InkedApp is for ages 16 and over. Every letter passes an automatic filter for abuse, sexual content, and attempts to move the conversation off the app. Block or report anyone in two taps, and every report is reviewed within 24 hours.

TWELVE LANGUAGES
English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Polish, Russian, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese and Hindi.

INKEDAPP IS FOR YOU IF
• You write long messages and people reply with one word
• You want a friend abroad, not another follower
• You are curious about how ordinary life feels in another country
• You miss having something to look forward to in the post
• You would rather be read than seen

FREE TO USE
InkedApp is free. You get Ink Drops when you join, more every day you return, and more for every letter you open — or watch a short video for extra. Drops can be bought too, but nothing is locked behind them: no subscription, no paywall on writing.

No feeds. No likes. No read receipts. Nobody is "online".
Just a letter, an envelope, and the long, lovely wait.

Find your first pen pal tonight, and write to them properly.
