InkedApp: Pen Pal Letters

Somewhere in the world, someone is writing a letter to you.

InkedApp is a pen pal app for people who miss real letters. Spin the compass, meet a stranger in another country, choose your paper and ink, write properly, and press the wax seal. Then wait — because a letter that arrives instantly is not a letter.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Spin the compass and meet a pen pal in another country.
2. Choose your paper, your ink and your envelope, then write your letter.
3. Press the wax seal and drop it in the mailbox.
4. Wait. When the reply arrives, break the seal and read.

LETTERS TAKE REAL TIME TO ARRIVE
This is the heart of InkedApp. Your letter travels a real distance in real hours:
• Same country — 1 to 2 hours
• Same continent — 6 to 8 hours
• Across the ocean — up to a full day
Write tonight, and a reply may be waiting tomorrow evening. Snail mail, the way it used to be.

ONE PEN PAL AT A TIME
Turn the compass and it lands on a single stranger: a new country, a new life, a new story. No swiping, no endless grid of profiles. Write to them, or spin again.

MATCHED BY WHAT YOU LOVE
Poetry, music, cinema, history, astronomy, gardening, mythology, philosophy — 33 interests. The compass brings you pen pals who share them, so the first letter is never hard to start.

BREAK THE WAX SEAL
Every letter arrives sealed. Tap to crack the wax and unfold it — the best small moment in the app.

YOUR DESK, YOUR STATIONERY
23 kinds of paper, 12 inks and 6 envelopes. Write on aged parchment, marbled paper, an antique decree or a page torn from a notebook. Sign it in night blue, emerald or royal gold. Everything you unlock is yours forever.

INK DROPS
Ink Drops are what you write letters with — 10 for a letter. Earn them every day you return, for every letter you open, and for keeping your streak alive.

THE NOTICE BOARD
Pin a note the whole world can read — "looking for a pen pal who writes long letters about the sea" — and see who answers.

YOUR PASSPORT
A stamped identity for the world of letters: your name, your country, and every letter you have sent.

PRACTISE A LANGUAGE BY LETTER
Many people write to a pen pal to practise a language with someone who actually speaks it. A letter is the gentlest way: time to look things up, time to think, and nobody waiting on a typing indicator.

WORDS ONLY — NO PHOTOS
There is no photo sharing in InkedApp and no plan to add it. You are known by what you write, not how you look.

A COMMUNITY THAT STAYS KIND
InkedApp is for ages 16 and over. Every letter passes an automatic filter for abuse, sexual content and attempts to move the conversation off the app. Block or report in two taps; every report is reviewed within 24 hours.

TWELVE LANGUAGES
English, Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Polish, Russian, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese and Hindi.

FREE TO USE
InkedApp is free. You get Ink Drops when you join, more every day you return and for every letter you open — or watch a short video for extra. Drops can be bought, but nothing is locked behind them: no subscription, no paywall on writing.

No feeds. No likes. No read receipts. Nobody is "online".
Just a letter, an envelope and the long, lovely wait.

Find your first pen pal tonight and write to them properly.
