Inksightful turns handwritten journals and notebooks into a searchable archive. Scan pages with your iPhone, run handwriting recognition, and find names, places, themes, and memories without flipping through old notebooks by hand.
Built for paper journal keepers, Inksightful keeps the original page scans close to the recognized text, so you can always check the source. For diaries, it can group pages into dated entries, making long-running journals easier to revisit.
Use Inksightful to:
• Scan paper notebook pages
• Recognize handwritten text
• Search across journals and notebooks
• Find people, places, phrases, and dates
• Revisit entries from past years
• Keep a durable digital backup of fragile notebooks
• Preserve the feel of writing on paper while adding digital search
Inksightful includes a limited number of trial handwriting recognition scans. Additional recognition scans require an in-app purchase.
Your writing stays in your library on your device. When AI handwriting recognition is used, pages are processed only long enough to create the recognized text and return it to the app.
Inksightful is designed for people who still love paper notebooks, but want a better way to find what they wrote.
