Intake AI is an optional add-on for anyone who wants to log food even faster. Take a photo of your meal or describe it, and Intake AI tells you exactly which ingredients it contains and how many calories your food has. When creating your own meals, you can also scan a nutrition label — Intake AI fills in the values for you automatically.

Alternatively, you can use your own API key from ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. In this mode, the feature set is limited to simple photo logging and the text chat.
